Neighborhood Logo
I lived in Meadowview (pictured above, via Google Earth) for most of my life, and in this project I created a new visual identity for the neighborhood. The old Meadowview logo was something I would not even call a logo, it was just a piece of clipart. So when the neighborhood said they were in need of a refreshed look, I got excited to give them something that actually represented the place.
I created a logo that looks fun and simple because that is how life is in Meadowview, and I wanted to capture it in their new visual identity. I chose thick lines, fun colors, and a pleasing design with rolling hills because it shows the true nature of the neighborhood. The neighborhood is very kid-friendly and family-oriented, it sits on a hill sandwiched between two great community parks with a spectacular view of the meadow and mountains south of it.
The logo works in black and white, it works at all different sizes, and it works in lots of different applications (signage, t-shirts, social media, etc.) This logo is currently in use in the neighborhood email chain and on their social media. Its also tattooed on my leg.
